The Kualitee plugin for Jira focuses on Reporting and Analytics capabilities.
It provides detailed reports on test results, defect status, and other key metrics related to software quality. Teams can analyze this data to identify trends and patterns in their development process and make data-driven decisions to improve software quality.
To use the Kualitee plugin in Jira, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your Jira account and go to the Atlassian Marketplace
- Search for the Kualitee plugin and click on the “Get it now” button to install it
- Once the plugin is installed, go to your Jira project and click on the “Settings” gear icon in the top right corner
- Go to “Apps” in top navigation bar and select Kualitee
- After logging into Kualitee, click on your avatar. You can generate your API token through the API token section
- Enter your API token into the plugin
- Once you’re logged in, you can start using the Kualitee plugin in Jira
Now, head over to the Dashboard. The Dashboard consists of 3 main sections.
Defects
You will be able to see an overview of the total defects via pie charts. These include Defects by Status (done; in progress; to do), Defects by Severity (blocker, minor, major), Test Case Status (paused; failed; not run), and Team Effectiveness via a comprehensive bar chart.
Test Cycles
You will be able to see the total number of cycles that have been ran in the project. You can see stats of all cycles (e.g. how much have passed or failed, as well as custom statuses).
