This increases the demand placed on managing test cases in the future and adds obsolete test cases to the regression test suite. A good test case management software can easily solve this problem.

1. Add More Tests
The tests made for the sprint testing must be added to the regression test, after introducing the major functionality. The perhaps entail adding the test to sanity or smoke also. The addition is determined by the importance of a feature or functionality. A high-level feature that is used by the majority should be added to both sanity/smoke and regression testing. You must make sure that the test is one that must be added to regression to sidestep duplicates.
2. Update the Tests
It is not important to create a new test if no changes to functionality are made and the workflow is not updated. Just editing the tests to match the latest workflow will be enough.
