Test Cycles
Kualitee offers a smooth testing experience with our Test Cycle Management feature. Easily switch between Test Plans and Test Cycles to manage your testing tasks effortlessly. This will simplify your testing process and help your team stay organized with these user-friendly options.
1. Test Cycle Management is expandable. It will have two main sections:
a. Test Plan
b. Test Cycles
Clicking on the Test Cycle leads to the Test Cycle listing as shown in the screenshot below:

2. Create Cycle:
Once you click on Create Cycle, you will be redirected to the Create Cycle form where you can create the cycle simply by adding cycle name.

This screen contains two checkboxes with the following functionality:
- Cycle Visible to the Assignee
When this checkbox is enabled, the test cycle will be visible only to the users assigned to it. Unassigned users will not be able to view or access the cycle. - Arrange the Sequence of Executing Your Test Cases in This Cycle
Enable this checkbox if test cases must be executed in a specific order. When selected, users will be required to execute test cases sequentially (for example, the second test case cannot be executed before the first).
Click on “order cycle test cases” button to arrange test cases in cycle


Adding Test Cases to Cycle:
After you go through the cycle creation process, the next step is to add test cases to the cycle:
Select the test cases and then click on Move button.
Select the cycle and again click on Move button to move test cases.



Test Case Execution
Once you are done with the addition of test cases, click on Execute button and you will be navigated to Execution listing screen, containing the test cases you have added in the cycle you can also go back to cycle listing by clicking on the Test Cycles on the top menu navigation.
You can now assign test cases directly on Test case execution screen by clicking on Actions > Assign test cases.

Only the users to whom test cases are assigned can execute those test cases. However, users with Admin roles have the authority to change or reassign test cases as needed.
To execute test cases, click on the Play icon, and you will be ready to execute your test cases.

Select the status from status dropdown and mark the executions.

Removing Test Case from Test Cycle
You can remove test cases from a test cycle using either of the following methods:
Using Multi-Select (Ctrl Key)
Press and hold the Ctrl key and select one or more test cases. Once selected, the Remove button will appear at the top of the Cycle Repository. Click Remove to delete the selected test case(s) from the respective cycle.

Using the Actions Menu
Go to Execution listing screen. Select the required test case(s), click the Actions icon, and then choose Delete. The selected test case(s) will be removed from the test cycle.
